hmm, never made a COLORING tut yet (or at least, not with this new style im going with) so i guess i can make one right now!
so i guess i usually start with a basic sketch. really simple. light lines with the marker tool.
first you kinda wanna figure out where the light is gonna come from. that makes it easier. decide where you want the shadows and junk, and how strong the light is.
once you decide that (you dont actually have to draw it, this is just an example) i usually start working under the sketch already. (im gonna do lineless here)
so first i lower the opacity of the sketch and put flat colors under it. (the skin tone is light so ill also put a bg color so i can see it better :0)
then i start with the marker tool and grab some shadows
(im lazy af so sorry)
then blend them a little more with the water tool
then do the same thing again with a darker color on another layer
and blah blah just keep repeating that until its as dark as you want or smth idk
then do the same again, except now with LIGHTEr colors
then do the same for the rest of the drawing blah blah blah im too lazy to finish this tbh
look i gave him hair :D
thats p much it really just the same thing for the whole drawing— shadow shadow light light whatever whatever
i hope i helped in some way ovo !!
My prom dress last year was gorgeous, i think.
